The February release at Kelly Purkey Shop is live and I wanted to share one of the projects I made using some of the products from this month’s release. I used both the Details mini kit from Life Love Paper and the main kit called Tag You’re It to put together this spread about visiting the Grand Canyon last year.
The stamp set from the Details kit is simply great and I liked using it to stamp on a lot of my photos.
There is also a really fun alphabet stamp with this release called Park Slope. The letters are really big and the full alphabet fits on a 6×8″ sheet! I wanted to use it to create a title card for our travel but the letters were too large to spell out “Arizona” on a 3×4″ card. So I randomly stamped the letters both hanging off the card and sideways to get them all to fit. I also used the Tag You’re It stamp from the main kit to create a background for the letters and add some extra color. I love how graphic the card turned out!
The kits usually include some stickers, and I used the alphabet stickers and label stickers to embellish a couple more of the photos.
I still have to do the second half of the week and will be using more of these kits — stay tuned!
