I’ve got several weeks from 2017 that are partially done (photos and a few journal cards selected) and just sitting on my desk. This weekend I spent a half hour finishing this one up. I had purchased the Stuff zine from LifeLovePaper last year and was inspired by the pretty colors and shopping theme to use it in this week’s spread.

Here’s what the final spread looks like.

This was a week where I got caught up in a lot of online sales and was purchasing a lot of “stuff” that were good deals, but that I didn’t necessarily need. Anyone else do that? 🙂 I used the shopping bag cards from the LLP zine to remind me of this.

For the title card, I enlarged the pink sun from the LLP printable and added some text for the week number.

I used some labels in the same color scheme over some of the photos to include some journaling. The labels are from Elle’s Studio and help bring some cohesion to the overall spread.

The rest of the cards included some of the highlights from the week, including my return to masters swimming, a family celebration, and visits to some usual places (park, beach). I didn’t have a ton of photos this week, so I opted to make a 4×6″ filler card using a background from the LLP zine, a plastic gold shape, and some small embellishments.

Simple and best of all, done!
