Studio Calico: July Guest Designer

Studio Calico asked me to be a guest designer for their Documenter Kit this month. It was fun to work with the July “Great Escape” documenter kit, which had a lot of nice embellishments and bright, summery colors.

I made three 12×12 pocket page spreads just using the kit, which I talked about on their blog here.

1. Project Life Week 24 | Left

Summer is in full swing over here so we spend a lot of time outdoors and especially at the beach.

2. Project Life Week 24 | Right

Summer also means water balloons and ice cream. 🙂

3. Project Life Week 22

Thank you for looking!

  6. Hello there, There’s no doubt that your blog could be having web browser compatibility problems.
When I look at your site in Safari, it looks fine however, if opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping issues.
I simply wanted to give you a quick heads up!
    Aside from that, fantastic blog!

  25. May I just say what a relief to uncover a person that truly
knows what they are talking about on the internet.
You certainly realize how to bring a problem to light and
make it important. A lot more people have to look at
this and understand this side of your story. I was surprised that you’re not more popular because you most certainly possess the gift.

  32. Excellent blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little
lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go
for a paid option? There are so many options out there
that I’m completely confused .. Any recommendations?
    Kudos!

  37. Hello! I know this is somewhat off-topic however I had to ask.
Does operating a well-established website such as yours
require a large amount of work? I’m completely
new to operating a blog however I do write in my journal daily.
I’d like to start a blog so I will be able to share my own experience and feelings online.

Please let me know if you have any kind of ideas or tips
    for new aspiring bloggers. Thankyou!

this, what if you added a little information? I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your website, but suppose
you added a headline that makes people want more?

Arrow is kinda vanilla. You might glance at Yahoo’s front page
and see how they create news titles to grab people
to open the links. You might add a related video or a related pic or two to get people excited
about what you’ve got to say. Just my opinion, it would make your website a little bit more interesting.

  43. My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP.

I have always disliked the idea because of the costs.
But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on various websites for about a year and
am nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard
great things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it?
Any help would be really appreciated!

  48. Hello! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site?
I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers
and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be fantastic if
you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
