Studio Calico October Stamp Set: Special Delivery

Stamps are some of my favorite things to play with so when Studio Calico asked if I wanted to try out the October stamp set, Special Delivery, I said yes of course! The stamps in this month’s set, designed by Christine Herrin are super fun and versatile.

The postage stamps included reminded me of frames in a gallery wall, so I used them to create a mini gallery wall pattern for my title card. I cut some patterns from an older Studio Calico documenter kit to fit in some of the frames, and stamped some sentiments in other frames.

There are also several foliage pieces in the stamp set which I used to create a patterned background for a filler card. I used Versamark ink to stamp a subtle pattern on kraft cardstock, and then stamped the “Love This Season” sentiment to place right on top.

One of the benefits of subscribing to the stamp set means that you also get the digital files for FREE, which is a definite bonus. I used the digital handwritten sentiment “the story” added on one of my photos because it shows up in white much better than I could ever stamp.

Lastly, I used the journal lines and one of the handwritten sentiments, “note to self” to create my own journaling card. I also stamped the pencil stamp on the card and love that extra touch.

I hope you enjoyed looking at how I used this fun stamp set. If you’d like to start a stamp subscription, Studio Calico provided a code that you can use for $5 off a new 6 or 12 month stamp subscription: “JEN5” (good until the end of the month). Thanks for looking!

  49. Needed to draft you the bit of word to finally thank you yet again regarding the amazing concepts you have documented here. It’s certainly incredibly open-handed of people like you in giving freely what most people might have offered as an e-book to get some dough for their own end, primarily since you could possibly have done it if you ever desired. These pointers also acted as the great way to realize that the rest have the identical dream like my very own to know the truth many more in terms of this matter. I’m sure there are many more fun sessions ahead for individuals that read carefully your blog post.
