2019 Creative Goals

It’s a new year and I thought I’d share a recap of my projects from last year and my plans for memory keeping this year.

Project Life

Still love this project. I really like both working with pocket pages and looking back on previous albums. But I’m constantly behind with gaps in all 3 years that I’ve done it. I have yet to complete a full year! At the rate this is going, I’m just going to get further and further behind… I was really tempted to move to the 9×12 format this year but in the end, I decided to stick with 12×12 but change the frequency to BI-WEEKLY. I’m hoping this will help me stick with it AND leave me some time to go back and complete previous years.

Travel Albums / Mini-Albums

These are still on my list. I did finally complete a traveler’s notebook from a trip to France in 2016, but I have yet to start on the one from 2017. I ended up making a photo book from this trip for family and don’t know if I will do another TN for myself. On the list for this year is making an album from a week long trip last year to Zion/Bryce Canyon National Parks.

This was an unplanned project I discovered last year from Paper Issues. I did this in a traveler’s notebook format and really loved working with notebooks! I finished one TN for the first half of the year and have about half of a second notebook done. While I did love this project, I don’t think I will do it again this year because there is too much overlap with Project Life.

Traveler’s Notebooks

I loved using these last year for 52 Favorites and as a travel mini-album, but don’t have a specific project to use them for this year. I think I will just be documenting “randomly” in them during the year, which is a little weird for me. The OCD in me doesn’t like randomness!

December Daily

I’m not committing to anything for December just yet. I have three unfinished DD albums, including this year’s, which I am trying to work on “in my spare time.” 🙂

One Little Word

I tried this last year and stalled out around the middle of the year. I think the concept is great and I love personal development, but I will work on these goals in a different way.

What about you? What memory keeping projects are you doing this year?

  1. Nonetheless, red-orange glass beads excavated from the Indus Valley Civilization dated earlier than 1700 BC (possibly as early as 1900 BC) predate sustained glass manufacturing, which appeared around 1600 BC in Mesopotamia and 1500 BC in Egypt.

  2. Your style is very unique compared to other people I’ve read stuff from. I appreciate you for posting when you have the opportunity, Guess I’ll just book mark this web site.

  3. You made some decent points there. I checked on the internet for additional information about the issue and found most people will go along with your views on this site.

  4. After the match, Beerschot launched an announcement on the incident: “Our followers have crossed a skinny line the place a bit of fun turns into something critical. The chants aimed at Lierse goalkeeper Kawashima have been offensive and utterly out of order”.

  5. TokyoPop. Under the genre of comedy romance, it follows the life of Ara, as she constantly finds herself in the improper places at the incorrect instances which ends up in a ‘marriage’ between herself and Young-Woo, a boy she hardly is aware of.

  6. The number of patients had risen to 242, with one patient coming from Brazil and another from France, a telephone was linked to the institution, and the fruit and flower gardens have been moved to make more room for a playground.
