There’s a new release at Kelly Purkey Shop today and I wanted to share the two projects I made with this month’s release. The stamps and kits are all about summer fun and I was happy to work with them since we’ve been experiencing “June Gloom” here in southern California.
For my first project, I used the main TN kit called Summer Bucket List to document a week last year checking off the items on my bucket list. We spend a lot of time at the beach and at the pool – both as a family and solo for me, since I am avid swimmer. Many of the photos from the week were taken at both locations and I think I made at least 6 trips to the pool and beach that week. 🙂
When I first saw the TN papers, I was drawn to the large “Here Comes Summer” page. I cut down that page to use in a 4″ x 6″ pocket (layered over some white cardstock) and adhered a small photo of my daughter in the pool.
Since I was documenting my summer bucket list, I had to use the stamps from the kit to make a journaling card, with the completion dates. I used white embossing powder to make “summer bucket list” stand out on the dark blue paper.
I loved the circle patterns on the papers and stamped some of the sentiments over the circles and cut them out using a circle punch to use as embellishments on other photos.
Lastly, I cut out phrases from the fill-in-the-blank TN page to further embellish my photos. A few puffy asterisks from my stash completed the spread!
For my second project, I documented a recent week this year where I thought summer was starting to show up. Spoiler: Summer was just teasing me because it was sunny that week and then it was back to clouds the following week!
For this spread, I mixed cards from the main project kit, Fun Times, with the LLP kit, Summer Adventuring. We visited the beach twice that week and had fun collecting shells so the gorgeous Seashells stamp set by Life Love Paper was perfect to use. I loved playing with the different shells on my title page!
We also acquired a bike for my daughter which was exciting so the 3″ x 4″ card and matching sentiments from the Summer Adventuring kit was perfect for documenting that.
I used one of the journaling cards from the Fun Times kit to type some notes about things that happened during the week. The Sun’s Out stamp from Life Love Paper was great for adding an embellishment to the otherwise plain card. I popped it up with some foam tape.
A few more stamps and labels and my week was done! Thanks for checking out my projects and let me know if you have any questions!

Can I simply say what a reduction to seek out somebody who actually is aware of what theyre speaking about on the internet. You positively know the way to deliver an issue to mild and make it important. More individuals need to learn this and understand this facet of the story. I cant imagine youre no more well-liked since you definitely have the gift.
I do believe that a home foreclosure can have a major effect on the client’s life. Real estate foreclosures can have a 6 to ten years negative influence on a borrower’s credit report. A new borrower who have applied for home financing or virtually any loans for example, knows that the actual worse credit rating can be, the more tough it is to obtain a decent financial loan. In addition, it could affect any borrower’s capability to find a reasonable place to let or rent, if that becomes the alternative real estate solution. Thanks for your blog post.

One thing I’d like to say is that car insurance cancelling is a feared experience and if you’re doing the appropriate things as being a driver you won’t get one. A lot of people do receive the notice that they are officially dropped by their insurance company they have to fight to get extra insurance after having a cancellation. Cheap auto insurance rates are frequently hard to get from a cancellation. Understanding the main reasons regarding auto insurance cancelling can help people prevent completely losing in one of the most important privileges offered. Thanks for the strategies shared by your blog.

My coder is trying to persuade me to move to .net
from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs.
But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on several
websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to another platform.
I have heard good things about blogengine.net.
Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress posts into it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
