There’s a new release at Kelly Purkey Shop today and I wanted to share the two projects I made with this month’s release. The stamps and kits are all about summer fun and I was happy to work with them since we’ve been experiencing “June Gloom” here in southern California.
For my first project, I used the main TN kit called Summer Bucket List to document a week last year checking off the items on my bucket list. We spend a lot of time at the beach and at the pool – both as a family and solo for me, since I am avid swimmer. Many of the photos from the week were taken at both locations and I think I made at least 6 trips to the pool and beach that week. 🙂
When I first saw the TN papers, I was drawn to the large “Here Comes Summer” page. I cut down that page to use in a 4″ x 6″ pocket (layered over some white cardstock) and adhered a small photo of my daughter in the pool.
Since I was documenting my summer bucket list, I had to use the stamps from the kit to make a journaling card, with the completion dates. I used white embossing powder to make “summer bucket list” stand out on the dark blue paper.
I loved the circle patterns on the papers and stamped some of the sentiments over the circles and cut them out using a circle punch to use as embellishments on other photos.
Lastly, I cut out phrases from the fill-in-the-blank TN page to further embellish my photos. A few puffy asterisks from my stash completed the spread!
For my second project, I documented a recent week this year where I thought summer was starting to show up. Spoiler: Summer was just teasing me because it was sunny that week and then it was back to clouds the following week!
For this spread, I mixed cards from the main project kit, Fun Times, with the LLP kit, Summer Adventuring. We visited the beach twice that week and had fun collecting shells so the gorgeous Seashells stamp set by Life Love Paper was perfect to use. I loved playing with the different shells on my title page!
We also acquired a bike for my daughter which was exciting so the 3″ x 4″ card and matching sentiments from the Summer Adventuring kit was perfect for documenting that.
I used one of the journaling cards from the Fun Times kit to type some notes about things that happened during the week. The Sun’s Out stamp from Life Love Paper was great for adding an embellishment to the otherwise plain card. I popped it up with some foam tape.
A few more stamps and labels and my week was done! Thanks for checking out my projects and let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks for enabling me to obtain new thoughts about desktops. I also hold the belief that certain of the best ways to help keep your notebook computer in primary condition has been a hard plastic case, or even shell, that suits over the top of one’s computer. These kinds of protective gear are generally model unique since they are manufactured to fit perfectly across the natural housing. You can buy all of them directly from owner, or from third party places if they are for your mobile computer, however only a few laptop can have a shell on the market. Again, thanks for your suggestions.

The problem is something that too few men and women are speaking intelligently about. Now i’m very happy I came across this in my search for something concerning this.

I have come to understand that costs for online degree experts tend to be an incredible value. Like a full College Degree in Communication from The University of Phoenix Online consists of 60 credits with $515/credit or $30,900. Also American Intercontinental University Online makes available Bachelors of Business Administration with a complete course feature of 180 units and a tuition fee of $30,560. Online learning has made getting your higher education degree far less difficult because you could earn your own degree from the comfort of your home and when you finish from office. Thanks for all the tips I have learned through your website.
