June Projects with Kelly Purkey Shop

There’s a new release at Kelly Purkey Shop today and I wanted to share the two projects I made with this month’s release. The stamps and kits are all about summer fun and I was happy to work with them since we’ve been experiencing “June Gloom” here in southern California.

For my first project, I used the main TN kit called Summer Bucket List to document a week last year checking off the items on my bucket list. We spend a lot of time at the beach and at the pool – both as a family and solo for me, since I am avid swimmer. Many of the photos from the week were taken at both locations and I think I made at least 6 trips to the pool and beach that week. 🙂

When I first saw the TN papers, I was drawn to the large “Here Comes Summer” page. I cut down that page to use in a 4″ x 6″ pocket (layered over some white cardstock) and adhered a small photo of my daughter in the pool.
Since I was documenting my summer bucket list, I had to use the stamps from the kit to make a journaling card, with the completion dates. I used white embossing powder to make “summer bucket list” stand out on the dark blue paper.
I loved the circle patterns on the papers and stamped some of the sentiments over the circles and cut them out using a circle punch to use as embellishments on other photos.
Lastly, I cut out phrases from the fill-in-the-blank TN page to further embellish my photos. A few puffy asterisks from my stash completed the spread!
For my second project, I documented a recent week this year where I thought summer was starting to show up. Spoiler: Summer was just teasing me because it was sunny that week and then it was back to clouds the following week!
For this spread, I mixed cards from the main project kit, Fun Times, with the LLP kit, Summer Adventuring. We visited the beach twice that week and had fun collecting shells so the gorgeous Seashells stamp set by Life Love Paper was perfect to use. I loved playing with the different shells on my title page!

We also acquired a bike for my daughter which was exciting so the 3″ x 4″ card and matching sentiments from the Summer Adventuring kit was perfect for documenting that.

I used one of the journaling cards from the Fun Times kit to type some notes about things that happened during the week. The Sun’s Out stamp from Life Love Paper was great for adding an embellishment to the otherwise plain card. I popped it up with some foam tape.
A few more stamps and labels and my week was done! Thanks for checking out my projects and let me know if you have any questions!

  1. Complaints have flooded social media since the video’s release, with residents saying it fails to show the modern side of their country. Many claim the footage was edited to seemingly appear old-fashioned, with a faded sepia tone, and that the camera focuses on shabby architecture.

Others have complained about the video’s airport scenes, during which one of the characters loses his luggage and seeks help from a local ground staff member called “Happy.”

“When I watched it, I was thinking, this was Thailand 50 years ago. This looked like Thailand 70 years ago. There were no segments showing the modernity of my home,” David William, an American content creator based in Thailand, said in Thai in a TikTok video that has been viewed over 11 million times.

In an interview with CNN, he said he’s never seen “a cab that looked that bad before” in his nearly 10 years in the country, adding Thailand’s main gateway, Suvarnabhumi Airport is just as modern as New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

“Thailand is a modern, safe and beautiful country,” he said. “I just hope don’t misunderstand.”

Echoing his view, Facebook user Nipawan Labbunruang said the video makes Thailand look “terrible.”

“What is this clip trying to present?” she wrote in a post that received 1,900 likes.

  7. Howdy, I do think your site could possibly be
having browser compatibility problems. When I look at your website in Safari,
it looks fine however, if opening in I.E., it’s
got some overlapping issues. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up!
    Aside from that, excellent website!

  12. Thanks for your post. What I want to point out is that when looking for a good online electronics retail outlet, look for a web page with entire information on critical factors such as the personal privacy statement, safety details, any payment guidelines, as well as other terms and also policies. Always take time to look at help and also FAQ sections to get a much better idea of how the shop is effective, what they are capable of doing for you, and in what way you can use the features.

  14. Thanks for sharing your ideas right here. The other matter is that whenever a problem comes up with a computer system motherboard, persons should not take the risk regarding repairing that themselves for if it is not done properly it can lead to permanent damage to all the laptop. It’s usually safe just to approach any dealer of your laptop for the repair of that motherboard. They’ve technicians who have an know-how in dealing with laptop computer motherboard troubles and can make right prognosis and accomplish repairs.

It has a higher resolution 1080p AMOLED (active matrix organic

and much lower image persistence, meaning that the images you see on the screen change as quickly as
you move rather than persisting on the screen long enough to cause
