There’s a new release at Kelly Purkey Shop today and I wanted to share the two projects I made with this month’s release. The stamps and kits are all about summer fun and I was happy to work with them since we’ve been experiencing “June Gloom” here in southern California.
For my first project, I used the main TN kit called Summer Bucket List to document a week last year checking off the items on my bucket list. We spend a lot of time at the beach and at the pool – both as a family and solo for me, since I am avid swimmer. Many of the photos from the week were taken at both locations and I think I made at least 6 trips to the pool and beach that week. 🙂
When I first saw the TN papers, I was drawn to the large “Here Comes Summer” page. I cut down that page to use in a 4″ x 6″ pocket (layered over some white cardstock) and adhered a small photo of my daughter in the pool.
Since I was documenting my summer bucket list, I had to use the stamps from the kit to make a journaling card, with the completion dates. I used white embossing powder to make “summer bucket list” stand out on the dark blue paper.
I loved the circle patterns on the papers and stamped some of the sentiments over the circles and cut them out using a circle punch to use as embellishments on other photos.
Lastly, I cut out phrases from the fill-in-the-blank TN page to further embellish my photos. A few puffy asterisks from my stash completed the spread!
For my second project, I documented a recent week this year where I thought summer was starting to show up. Spoiler: Summer was just teasing me because it was sunny that week and then it was back to clouds the following week!
For this spread, I mixed cards from the main project kit, Fun Times, with the LLP kit, Summer Adventuring. We visited the beach twice that week and had fun collecting shells so the gorgeous Seashells stamp set by Life Love Paper was perfect to use. I loved playing with the different shells on my title page!
We also acquired a bike for my daughter which was exciting so the 3″ x 4″ card and matching sentiments from the Summer Adventuring kit was perfect for documenting that.
I used one of the journaling cards from the Fun Times kit to type some notes about things that happened during the week. The Sun’s Out stamp from Life Love Paper was great for adding an embellishment to the otherwise plain card. I popped it up with some foam tape.
A few more stamps and labels and my week was done! Thanks for checking out my projects and let me know if you have any questions!

It’s difficult to find educated people about this topic,
however, you sound like you know what you’re talking
about! Thanks
Thanks for helping me to attain new thoughts about desktops. I also possess the belief that one of the best ways to keep your laptop computer in prime condition is to use a hard plastic material case, as well as shell, that will fit over the top of one’s computer. These types of protective gear are usually model distinct since they are manufactured to fit perfectly in the natural casing. You can buy them directly from the seller, or from third party places if they are designed for your notebook computer, however not every laptop could have a shell on the market. Yet again, thanks for your points.

Excellent article. I am experiencing a few of these issues as well..
Interesting post right here. One thing I’d like to say is that most professional career fields consider the Bachelors Degree just as the entry level standard for an online college diploma. Even though Associate College diplomas are a great way to get started on, completing your Bachelors opens many opportunities to various employment goodies, there are numerous on-line Bachelor Course Programs available from institutions like The University of Phoenix, Intercontinental University Online and Kaplan. Another thing is that many brick and mortar institutions offer you Online types of their diplomas but commonly for a substantially higher price than the companies that specialize in online education programs.
At this time it seems like Expression Engine is the preferred blogging platform available right now. (from what I’ve read) Is that what you are using on your blog?
It?s actually a great and helpful piece of info. I?m glad that you shared this helpful information with us. Please stay us up to date like this. Thanks for sharing.

Throughout cultures and generations, folks have turned to superstitions to search out that means in their lives and make sense
of the world around them. Christopher Columbus gets the lion’s share of the credit for discovering America in 1492, however the proof weighs heavily towards him being the first
one to seek out the new World. Mr. Bear was a superb man on the present,
but he didn’t have any problems being grumpy.
