There’s a new release at Kelly Purkey Shop today and I wanted to share the two projects I made with this month’s release. The stamps and kits are all about summer fun and I was happy to work with them since we’ve been experiencing “June Gloom” here in southern California.
For my first project, I used the main TN kit called Summer Bucket List to document a week last year checking off the items on my bucket list. We spend a lot of time at the beach and at the pool – both as a family and solo for me, since I am avid swimmer. Many of the photos from the week were taken at both locations and I think I made at least 6 trips to the pool and beach that week. 🙂
When I first saw the TN papers, I was drawn to the large “Here Comes Summer” page. I cut down that page to use in a 4″ x 6″ pocket (layered over some white cardstock) and adhered a small photo of my daughter in the pool.
Since I was documenting my summer bucket list, I had to use the stamps from the kit to make a journaling card, with the completion dates. I used white embossing powder to make “summer bucket list” stand out on the dark blue paper.
I loved the circle patterns on the papers and stamped some of the sentiments over the circles and cut them out using a circle punch to use as embellishments on other photos.
Lastly, I cut out phrases from the fill-in-the-blank TN page to further embellish my photos. A few puffy asterisks from my stash completed the spread!
For my second project, I documented a recent week this year where I thought summer was starting to show up. Spoiler: Summer was just teasing me because it was sunny that week and then it was back to clouds the following week!
For this spread, I mixed cards from the main project kit, Fun Times, with the LLP kit, Summer Adventuring. We visited the beach twice that week and had fun collecting shells so the gorgeous Seashells stamp set by Life Love Paper was perfect to use. I loved playing with the different shells on my title page!
We also acquired a bike for my daughter which was exciting so the 3″ x 4″ card and matching sentiments from the Summer Adventuring kit was perfect for documenting that.
I used one of the journaling cards from the Fun Times kit to type some notes about things that happened during the week. The Sun’s Out stamp from Life Love Paper was great for adding an embellishment to the otherwise plain card. I popped it up with some foam tape.
A few more stamps and labels and my week was done! Thanks for checking out my projects and let me know if you have any questions!

I enjoyed reading this. Nice read. This is a very good suggestion , especially to people fresh to the subject. Nice write up.

Thanks for your publication. I also believe laptop computers are getting to be more and more popular right now, and now in many cases are the only form of computer included in a household. This is because at the same time that they’re becoming more and more inexpensive, their working power keeps growing to the point where these are as robust as desktop computers out of just a few in years past.
Thanks for your article. What I want to comment on is that when evaluating a good on the net electronics shop, look for a site with total information on important factors such as the security statement, safety details, payment procedures, and various terms and policies. Usually take time to see the help in addition to FAQ segments to get a far better idea of how the shop works, what they can perform for you, and exactly how you can make the most of the features.

Thanks for your writing. I would like to say that the health insurance brokerage service also works for the benefit of the coordinators of a group insurance cover. The health broker is given a long list of benefits needed by a person or a group coordinator. What any broker does is try to find individuals as well as coordinators which will best match up those wants. Then he provides his ideas and if both parties agree, the actual broker formulates an agreement between the two parties.

you have got an amazing weblog right here! would you wish to make some invite posts on my blog?
Thanks for the thoughts you have shared here. Also, I believe there are a few factors which really keep your insurance premium lower. One is, to consider buying vehicles that are inside the good set of car insurance firms. Cars that happen to be expensive are definitely more at risk of being stolen. Aside from that insurance is also in line with the value of the car, so the more expensive it is, then the higher this premium you have to pay.
