July Projects with Kelly Purkey Shop

I created some new projects featuring the July release at Kelly Purkey Shop and today I’d like to share them with you! For my first project, I used the gorgeous Snapshot main kit. It was perfect for documenting the last few days spent one summer in France and leading up to our return home.

I really loved the cards with the vintage frames in them and sized a few photos to fit into them.

The stamps were also fun to play with. I stamped the camera icon on a 3×4 card to made my own filler card. Adding a few heart enamel hearts from my stash added a nice pop of color.

I also stamped several of the phrases on photos and the kit labels – one of my favorite ways to bring in some extra color and tie the spread together.
Here’s a look at the completed spread.

If you’ve seen some of my recent posts on Instagram, I’m also working on a mini-album documenting a trip to Hawaii a few years ago. I used the super cute Gone Fishing mini kit from Life Love Paper to create a spread about snorkeling on the big island.
The kit also includes some matching stickers which were fun to layer on my photos. I loved using both the kit stamp and the coordinating Under the Sea stamp to add extra embellishments to the page.

I added my journaling on a piece of vellum and then adhered it with my favorite adhesive for vellum (doesn’t show!).

Thanks for looking at my projects and feel free to ask me any questions!

  5. I have seen that nowadays, more and more people will be attracted to camcorders and the issue of pictures. However, being photographer, you will need to first invest so much time frame deciding the exact model of dslr camera to buy plus moving from store to store just so you might buy the least expensive camera of the trademark you have decided to settle on. But it will not end just there. You also have to take into account whether you should buy a digital photographic camera extended warranty. Thanks for the good guidelines I received from your weblog.

  7. The glass is taken from the furnace in large iron ladles, that are carried upon slings operating on overhead rails; from the ladle the glass is thrown upon the cast-iron bed of a rolling-desk; and is rolled into sheet by an iron roller, the method being just like that employed in making plate-glass, but on a smaller scale.

  8. The Sainte-Chapelle window types found an instantaneous echo in the home windows of other thirteenth century cathedrals and churches, notably Soissons Cathedral, made shortly after Sainte-Chapelle, doubtless by the same artists.
