August Projects with Kelly Purkey Shop

The August shop products at Kelly Purkey Shop have just been released and this month features stamps and kits with letters, words, and book themes! The main Love Language project kit is just lovely. My family and I just returned from a long holiday in France and I couldn’t wait to use it to document one of the weeks spent there.

Since the kit stamp includes a full alphabet, I used it to stamp the name of one of the places we spent a few days in (Saint-Cast).
We spent a lot of our time in Brittany (Bretagne) seeing new places and enjoying the gorgeous coastline (highly recommended)!  I had no trouble choosing some pretty photos taken during the trip.

Using the kit stamp, I stamped out a few of the [letter] is for [blank] phrases on the photos. I love this fun way to embellish the photos!

The rest of the page was embellished simply with a couple of labels and a few chunky stars from my stash!
For my second project, I made a spread about a wonderful children’s book shop we love going to in Paris called Chantelivre.

The Well Read and In The Stacks stamp sets were perfect to use for this spread! I used both of them to stamp a background page. I then layered some papers from the A+ mini kit by Life Love Paper to hold my journaling.

I stamped the name of the bookstore using the Walter lower alphabet stamp and then added a few more stamps to finish embellishing the page.

Hope you guys check out this release – it’s a good one!
