Ellen Hutson / Christine Herrin Holiday Tags

Hey there!

Welcome to the Blog Hop celebrating the holiday release at Ellen Hutson! This is the 13th stop on your hop. You probably arrived here from Kelly Griglione and your next stop will be Therese Calvird. For full details, please check out the Ellen Hutson blog.

I was so excited when I heard that Christine Herrin, from Everyday Explorers Co. designed some stamps for Ellen Hutson. I’ve been a big fan of Christine’s for a long time and love her designs.

Today I’d like to share some tags I made with the new stamps Christine designed exclusively for Ellen Hutson: Made This For You and Warmest Wishes. There are so many great icons and buildable options in these stamp sets!

For this tag, I started by creating a background with the ornament stamp. I masked off part of the ornaments in the center to make it two-toned. I then went in and stamped a couple of the sentiments right on top, and added some stamped images I had cut out directly onto the tag. I love how it gives the tag some extra dimension and texture.

The long patterned stamps can be used to border your sentiments or even as stripes as I did for this tag. I stamped the pattern three times to create the stripes for the background. I then stamped some of the icons onto cardstock, fussy-cut them out, and then adhered all the pieces to the tag. I embossed some of the stripes and leaves in gold to give it some sparkle!

I had so much fun putting together different combinations to make some festive tags and I can’t wait to see what you make with these sets!

  1. I’m curious to find out what blog system you’re working with? I’m experiencing some minor security issues with my latest blog and I’d like to find something more safeguarded. Do you have any suggestions?|

  2. * The total item count is approximate. The count will be inaccurate when sponsored products are displayed, when multiple sizes or colors of a product are grouped on a single product card, and when the in-stock filter is applied. Restrictions apply. Why It’s Worth It: Sensitive skin types, La Roche-Posay’s Effaclar Mat is practically made for you. Sure, its main focus is minimizing oiliness and excess sebum production, but Dr. Nazarian says this matte-finish, non-comedogenic moisturizer is also a gentle, oil-free formulation that won’t irritate delicate skin. As zinc pidolate, perlite, and silica absorb excess oil, lipohydroxy acid (a derivative of exfoliating salicylic acid also known as LHA) unclogs pores and soothing, antioxidant-rich thermal water seals in moisture. If you have oily skin, having an appropriate skin care routine is vital. In addition to applying treatments to minimize oiliness and breakouts, using a moisturizer is just as important as any other skin care product.
