Kids December Daily Advent Calendar

I have a young daughter who loves crafts and is continually fascinated by my scrapbooks and all the stuff used for making them. Recently, she’s been asking me to help with them and if she can do one of her own. So cute!

I remembered that the wonderfully creative Krystal Iduñate had made an advent calendar to help her daughter work on her own December Daily album last year and I knew I wanted to do the same for my little girl this December.

For the base of the album, I used one of the new 4″ x 6″ minibooks from Everyday Explorers Co. The Story Start journal is a great size with heavy paper that will withstand my daughter’s heaving coloring. 🙂 Since my daughter is only 5 and just barely reading, the project needs to be kept reasonable for her. I created some pre-made pages in the album using stamps from Everyday Explorers Co, Paper Person Shop, and Studio Calico. Each day has a loose “theme” with a small mini day tag (stamped from the Mini Calendar Days stamp) and matching embellishments.

Here’s a look at a few sample pages.

Day 3 – includes a prompt to draw or write out a holiday wish list (stamps are from Holiday Prompts and the Explorers Alpha) and embellishments from my stash

Day 03

Day 7 – a prompt to write out a holiday playlist with some fun embellishments for decorating it (stamps are from Holiday Prompts and Now Playing)

Day 07

Day 10 – a page to color and decorate some Christmas trees using sequins and stickers (stamps are from Christmas Tags and Holiday Prompts)

Day 10

Day 13 – a decorated page to draw or write about some everyday activities (stamps are from Christmas Tags, Christmas Post (digital), Good Stuff Inside)

Day 13

Day 16 – a day to write about things you’re grateful for! (stamps from this month’s Practice Gratitude mini kit and So Much Gratitude)

For the actual calendar bags, I made these out of plain kraft paper. They are roughly 4″ wide by 5″ tall and I only made them because I couldn’t find similar bags at my local craft store! The front has the number stamped with the solid Alberta stamp (Paper Person Shop) in black with December stamped and embossed in white from the Month By Month stamp (Everyday Explorers Co).

I LOVE how this turned out and I hope my little girl does too! I can’t wait for us to work on our albums together in December!!

  13. Furthermore, i believe that mesothelioma cancer is a extraordinary form of cancer malignancy that is typically found in all those previously exposed to asbestos. Cancerous tissues form in the mesothelium, which is a shielding lining which covers most of the body’s organs. These cells usually form within the lining of your lungs, mid-section, or the sac which actually encircles one’s heart. Thanks for expressing your ideas.

Here is a vivid example of modern trends – an understanding of the essence of resource -saving technologies determines the high demand for existing financial and administrative conditions.

There is a controversial point of view that is approximately as follows: the elements of the political process are mixed with non-unique data to the degree of perfect unrecognizability, which is why their status of uselessness increases. However, one should not forget that the economic agenda of today contributes to the preparation and implementation of the relevant conditions of activation.

Nonetheless, through everything that I have witnessed, I only hope as other reviews pack on that folks continue to be on point and not get started on a tirade of some other news of the day. Yet, thank you for this superb piece and even though I do not really go along with it in totality, I regard your viewpoint.

And there is no doubt that the interactive prototypes, which are a vivid example of the continental-European type of political culture, will be considered exclusively in the context of marketing and financial prerequisites. The ideological considerations of the highest order, as well as the innovative path we have chosen, creates the need to include a number of extraordinary measures in the production plan, taking into account the set of directions of progressive development.
