Project Life 2017: Week 5

I had skipped over this week because I didn’t have a lot of photos and the colors were all over the place. I finally decided to tackle it by changing the crazy color photos to black and white, and keeping to a mostly black and white color scheme. Sometimes it’s difficult to get the colors to look cohesive when you include photos of your toddler and she wants to wear All The Colors!

Since there were limited photos, I did a bit more journaling and created some filler cards with word art and doodles from Paislee Press. These handwritten doodles and phrases are so cute and made it easy (and fast!) to create all the cards.

I keep notes about the week in Evernote, which makes it handy to fill in details, longer stories, and funny conversations.

I resisted the urge to add more and kept it clean and minimal. Sometimes less is more.

Supplies used:
note taker no. 1 (PP)
sm(art) mouth (PP)
sm(art) mouth no. 2 (PP)
He & She Stamps and Tags (PP)
Weekend Vibes (PP)
Happy Routine (KS)
